Week 14 picks
CLE at PIT (Thur)-The browns have been known to pull off a couple upsets over the years but right now the Steelers are hot. Cleveland does not have enough skilled players on defense to match up with the Steelers receivers. This game should be over around halftime. Steelers win 31-10
NE at WAS- I’m not going to over analyze this one and I hope yall wont too. Pats win 28-17.
KC at NYJ- Kansas City pulled off a win against Chicago which surprised me but we can blame that one on their offense. The Jets are at home this week and I expect them to continue to play well on offense and defense. Three interceptions for the Jets defense and they win 27-13
HOU at CIN- This is one of the harder games to pick because just when you thought Houston couldn’t win without an offense, they do. I expect the Bengals to play smart and conservative football. If the Bengals don’t turn the ball over they win 17-7
IND at BAL- I would love to see the Ravens lose to another bad team this year but I think they learned their lesson. Ravens will have the ball for almost the whole game and win 28-3.
ATL at CAR- Atlanta is all over the place this year. Just when you think they are hot, they’re not. Back in week 6, the Falcons limited Newton to 0 passing tds and intercepted him twice. I’m going to have to stick with the Falcons here and believe they remember how to win. Atlanta sneaks away 28-24.
TB at JAC- All that hype about the Jaguars top defense can go to rest after that Monday night game. I can’t really say much about the Buc’s defense neither after giving up 4 rushing td’s (3 to Newton). This is a hard one to call but I think if Josh Freeman plays they win. Bucs win 20-13
NO at TEN- I would love to tell everyone that the Titans have a chance but the truth is they don’t. Any given Sunday? NO! Brees will throw for 4 more and do the moonwalk back to New Orleans. Saints win 31-13
PHI at MIA- Right now with the way that Miami is playing, a lot of people are going to pick them to beat the Eagles. I’m going to pick the Eagles to win because I think they will stop the Dolphins on defense and put up enough points up with Vick back to hold onto it. Eagles win 24-18
MIN at DET- The Lions actually looked like they had a chance against the Saints last week. This week they wont have to score so many to have a chance. In fact this game will come down to the end and Ponder will choke or for a better, not so violent word, F*** up. Motor City wins 21-17
SF at ARI- Wow, was I wrong picking the Cowboys to beat the Cardinals last week! Man I need to stop picking the underdogs…Wait maybe one more week! I am going to go with San Fran this week because they have better jerseys. They win 20-10
CHI at DEN- Well if Tebow can win the Heisman, he can win a super bowl right? My money is on him this week but don’t expect this to be a fun game to watch. It looks like Chicago lost their offense for now but maybe if they all start tebowing, Brett Farve will come out of retirement for them. But at this point I think I would rather have Brian Urlacher play in the wildcat formation the whole game. Broncos win 17-6
OAK at GB- Last week we saw the Raiders get pretty much shut out by the Dolphins. This week they play at Green Bay, which will break their hearts even more. Packers win 30-17 and get to 13-0.
BUF at SD- Buffalo’s defense is gone and the Chargers offense looks like it’s back. I expect a shootout-like game but the Chargers win 28-24
NYG at DAL- This is my game of the week. This is going to be a great game to watch as they fight for the division. The Cowboys seem to be a little hazy right now. They lost to Cardinals last week! Come on man! Giants looked good last week and I like them to win this one. Giants win 27-20
STL at SEA (Mon)- The Rams just can’t do it right now. By “do it” I mean they can’t win or score points. I always like the Seahawks at home and think they are going to have another impressive win this week. Hawks win 21-6
